Mineral Make Up Do's & Don'ts
 Does the thought of applying Mineral Make Up send a shiver down your spine? Well fear no more, Allison Browning of Adore Beauty shares her tips on what to "Do" and what you shouldn't to get the best results from your Mineral Make Up.
Do:
Use a professional mineral makeup kabuki brush; for flawless application this is a must!
Tap and swirl. Dab your brush into the powder, tap off the extra on the edge of the container and swirl your brush into the lid to get the best texture for application.
Use circular motions to apply it with your brush.
Mix two shades to get the ideal colour if you need to.
Hydrate. Apply moisturiser before your mineral foundation.
Absorb extra moisture. Blot the skin with a tissue to prevent caking of your foundation. Allow your sunscreen a moment to sit and then blot.
Use a mineral finishing powder if you want a matte finish.
Mix your mineral blush with clear lip gloss to give it a great tone.
Don’t:
Use a cream blush on top as it won’t glide on easily. Try a mineral bronzer or blush instead.
Choose the wrong shade: you will still see a ‘mask’ line. If you make the wrong choice or vary in tone between seasons just mix!
Use a poor quality brush. It will show in an uneven application.
Add too much powder to your brush; apply a little and top up to get more coverage if it’s needed.
