Pasta Carbonara
Ingredients
3 rashers bacon, chopped
1-2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 small onion, chopped
1 small chilli, sliced (optional)
500g pasta of your choice
shaved or grated parmesan to serve
Method
Cook pasta according to packet directions.
In a large pan, fry chilli, onion and bacon until onion is browned and bacon is crisp.
Drain pasta and toss into pan.
Quickly stir through egg (aiming for a light coating, not scrambled eggs.)
Serve sprinkled with Parmesan or grated cheese.
