Completely surrounded by impressive parklands, gardens and the River Torrens, Adelaide is home to Culture, Arts, Food, and Festivals and has a diverse range of things to do and see. You can go shopping in the city, visit cosmopolitan café’s in the suburbs or head to the coast to surf or swim.

1. Cruise the River Torrens on Popeye boats, you can also feed the ducks or take a paddleboat ride.

2. Visit the Adelaide Zoo, it has more than 3400 animals exhibited in magnificent botanic surroundings over 8 hectares.

3. Go to Mt Lofty Summit and see the spectacular views of Adelaide from the highest peak.

4. Cuddle a koala, feed and see kangaroos, wallabies, emus and waterfowl and many more animals at Cleland Wildlife Park.

5. Learn all about early maritime history at the historic Maritime Museum, Port Adelaide.

6. Have an adventure at the St Kilda Adventure Playground, the flying fox, spiral slide, giant wave slide; monorail and maze are sure to keep everyone entertained.

7. Visit Adelaide Gaol, and view the inside of a fascinating historical landmark and various artifacts dating back to the gaol's early years.

8. Go bushwalking in Morialta Conservation Park, and see three spectacular waterfalls.

9. Catch the tram to Glenelg, you can try the waterslides at the Beach house eat, eat gourmet ice cream or go for a swim.

10. Visit the Central Markets, and have lunch at one of the many great Chinese Restaurants in Chinatown.

11. Stroll through the Bicentennial Conservatory, it is the largest single span conservatory in the southern hemisphere and houses a great display of tropical rainforest plants.

12. Visit historic Semaphore, where you can play mini golf, waterslide or have fun at the Amusement Park.

13. Spend the day at Greenhill’s Adventure Park, with wave slides, aqua bikes, mazes, bouncy castles, mini golf, archery, waterslides and so much more it’s fun for the whole family.

14. Visit The South Australian Museum; it has six floors of fascinating and unique exhibits from the Australian aboriginals to Ancient Egypt.

15. Picnic in the parklands, Adelaide has many wonderful parklands with playgrounds, walking trails and bbq facilities.

16. Spend the day at Victor Harbor, catch the horse drawn tram to Granite Island and look for the fairy penguins.

17. Ride the Steamranger ‘Cockle’ train between Victor Harbor and Goolwa, kids and adults alike will love this trip.

18. Hand milk Daisy the cow at the Hahndorf Farm barn, you can also feed and pat all the other farm animals.

19. Take a Safari tour at Monarto Open Range Zoo; you will see giraffe, zebras, antelope, cheetah, rare white rhinoceros, lions and many more animals.

20. Visit the National Railway Museum, climb aboard the train exhibits or take a miniature train ride. A great place for train buffs of all ages.
